It is my life’s mission to help millions of women sleep again.

It’s no secret that sleep is hard for women when they hit menopause. I know, because it happened to me, too.

I stopped sleeping at age 47, just after my oldest child left for college. Perimenopause hit me like a ton of bricks. First the hot flashes started, then came the soaking wet sheets. My mind raced at 2am and I couldn’t turn off my worries. I was left physically and mentally exhausted, depleted, edgy, and very frustrated. It took all my effort to dig myself out of the black hole of insomnia.

After trying what felt like everything, I decided to go to nutrition school and get my health coaching degree. I wanted to learn the best lifestyle and diet practices to support my well being and sleep – and I knew I couldn’t get those from Google searches.

Through extensive education and research, I finally found my way back to sleep. Along the way I learned that women have a significantly higher risk of developing Alzheimer’s, dementia, heart disease, depression, and auto-immune diseases.

If you look beneath the surface of our fast-paced, rushed, high-stress society, you can see how women are chronically depleted and exhausted.

And it all comes back to our sleep.
